Continued Deployment of the Plan of Correction

Unity Center is closely monitoring sustained deployment of the Plan of Correction, with consistent, 100% deployment in all key areas. Unity Center continues to have the highest rate of barcode utilization for medication administration of any hospital in the Legacy Health System. We remain focused on rebuilding capacity.

Staffing

Continue performing recruitment efforts. Applicant flow remains consistent with the last few weeks. Currently interviewing and screening qualified candidates. There are currently 32 open positions, which includes 12 full-time RN positions, 11 part-time RN positions and 4 on call/supplemental positions. 9 RNs have been newly hired with upcoming start dates, along with six nurse residents, two charge nurses and one clinical social worker.

Unity Center capacity

The average daily census at Unity Center for the last 7 calendar days is 100 patients. This number reflects a combined census for PES and inpatient units.
